You are all here today- because you believe in something. I am here today to tell you- that your beliefs are true.
If you open your eyes & look around. We exemplify the true meaning of art & community.
My belief is that, to harvest & conduct tangible change, Overturn & solve a heavy urban stigma, We must reach the core of socio-psychology that deters People of their great capabilities. I am proof.
After seeing more of the world, Weeks of a devoted vow of silence, constant reflection of my conscience. Testing my thesis worldwide of art being a tool of social healing. I came to a succinct conclusion. We are a rare breed of Golden Thinkers.
The photos that hang (sixth sense) before us is the tying bond For every person in this room. It is an honor & privilege to work with such a devoted photographer, Chris Beale; moreover, to exhibit in Jane Kim’s office amongst her infinitely Vibrant staff.
We convene & rejoice Because of art & my soul is forever humbled. But- We must not lose ourselves in celebration.
It is symbolic for me To narrate my neighborhood to remind our elected officials of the communities they serve.
